Hello!

Allison Turlo (Ally) is a scenic designer and artist from Benton, ME.

​

A recent graduate from Syracuse University, Ally earned her BFA in Theater Design and Technology with a focus in scenic design. Since graduating, Ally has worked on shows at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Theater Row, the Waterville Opera House, and A Magical Journey Thru Stages. Currently, she is the technical director and scenic designer for Lakewood Theater in Madison, Maine.

During her time at SU, she worked on multiple shows at the Drama Department, including scenic designing Working and Cymbeline (mainstage) and associate costume designing In Love and Warcraft (mainstage). 

 

Ally has also devoted much of her time to working with several design department shops; she worked in the scene shop her freshman year, the prop shop her sophomore year, and the paint shop her junior and senior year. During her time at the paint shop, she found a passion for scenic painting and collaborating with scenic artists.

When not designing, you can find Ally looking at photos of her family's dog Gus or making friendship bracelets.
